Africam announces IPTV play
Africam will start a role out of live streaming video and audio webcams in collaboration with Infotech Business Systems, a Canadian based company specializing in streaming media. Recently, Infotech made headlines with their new and innovative technology which allows viewers to watch high quality, live video stream, right to their desktops. Technology has come along way and as bandwidth cost becomes less expensive, a new dawn in online streaming media has begun. Nkorho Pan in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, will be the first cam to go “live streaming”. After that, the intention is to set up a number of streaming cams including a VGD, “virtual game drive”, pioneered by Africam some years back, which again will allow our viewers a live virtual tour - to follow the action with us, live and in the wild.
