If it wasn't for the WE presenters calling in the sightings, the paid folks would have missed some wonderful viewing. Look how many times Wild dogs, Leopards, Lions etc have been spotted by the presenters and they call in the sightings so the paid folks get a chance to see them. Yep i agree...the attitude i can have at times, had that been me. Especially if im in that kinda mood I will share after I had my fill of it! __________________

i was comparing the right eye of the leopard and this is my opinion. The thick black line above the eye is solid on the bottom 2, on the top 1 it doesnt look as thick and it looks like it has 1 big black dot in a thin light line. But smack dab in the center of the forhead they all look the same. im thinking the top pic is just because its head is down just a tad bit. I wish I could see the right cheek better on the top comparing it to the middle because them three lines looks the same also. 2 lines going across then the 3rd line is centered rigth below them going down. __________________

yes BUT their was no other landies their and to be so selfish in this kind of situation is not ok. It was in fact Pieter who called him on the radio numerous times to let him know of the sighting. Im thinking it seems as if it goes deeper than just a sighting of an animal no one owns. __________________

Ya know, in all fairness...I don't know who this Graham guy is and maybe he's just an old curmudgeon...but I can certainly understand someone feeling like the paying customers should get top priority...just from a business perspective. WE may get vistors\business from some of us, and I am thrilled they choose to share with us like they do, but I could see both sides of the coin for sure. __________________

you have to remember to this leopard was very skittish. All of the ones that I have seen have ben very comfortable with the landie. Remember that time when WE came upon that dead carcass and they thought it had been bit by a snake because of the blood coming from its neck (impala i believe) and the hyenas were their and no other animal was around? I remember either reading or someone saying their is a leopard that is very skittish and does not hang around for long. I just dont remember if they had a name for that 1 or I have just forgotten. __________________

The first two in the original pic post were ID'd on the drives of Aug 26th and Nov 10th as the Beacon's Male. The pic I just posted for you Chris is also of the Beacon's Male from Aug. 26th.
The last pic on the original post is the unidentified male from today.
