A Question...

A probably unneeded backstory:  I first heard about this site on the discussion forum at the Philadelphia Eagles website.  There's been a discussion thread about it there for a couple years now.  Most of the posts are mine, letting the folks there know when would be a good time to click in over here.

I also share this site with lots & lots of other folks, even this AM with a Colorado rockclimbing guide with whom I'm going to climb next week.

So now today a friend tells me that he clicked over and got a message that says he has to be registered and logged in in order to view the live stream.

Here's the question:  Is this a new policy, or did he just do something wrong?

 Thanks for the help!

Hello ilikepargo,

Please see the following topic for an explanation:

I just tried it with using IE where I was not logged in first and see what you get when you try to open the pop ups.  the login/register link on the pop up did not direct properly but I closed the pop up and logged in on the main page upper left then I was able to get the pop up cam to come up properly although as luck would have it the EP cam just went down but NK is working ok.  Hope this helps.

In the technical issues thread admin recently posted an explaination about the pop up cams and the need for registration and login to view the cams now.  Maybe since I was already logged in I had no problems with viewing the pop ups.  I am using firefox browser too if that makes any difference.  Check out what admin had to say about it though.

I have the same problem: can`t open the cams either.

Tourneyman please: Can you give me a hint how to open the pop up cams? Thanks!

Any help is much appreciated, I already have withdrawing symptoms!

There was some sort of glitch that took place earlier today where we all got some weird page when trying to get into africam.  They have been making changes almost daily it seems with things as I keep noticing subtle changes.  The pop up cams do seem to be working ok now for me anyway.

I have not been on since 7/3 - I always opened ep from their web site as a pop up.  Today when I tried opening ep from the website it says "You need to be registered and logged in to view the live stream. Please login or register here."  When I logged in on ep I still received the same message. Does anyone know what happened and why.  I really like ep open as a pop up window and not another tab across the top.  Thanks for any help. Smile
