Africam for Bushbabies 4 - Video Upload
If you are following along with me, you are now posting in the new Boma forum along with everyone else. That wasn't so hard now, was it?
In case you haven't noticed, the site has been upgraded and there is a brand new front page for Africam - at the same location of course - http://www.africam.com
You will find that this page is easier to navigate and there is much more information that makes it quicker to find what you are looking for.
You will find the recent video uploads to the site. We have someone taking videos most (but not all) of the time and you will find many sightings in these videos. If you have an Africam video that you would like to share with the viewers, you will find an Upload Video link just below the recent video thumbnails
You will also find links to the most recent forum postings, so you can see where people are talking and what they are saying by following the links.
The recent Twitter updates, listing the sightings are also on this page, so you can see at a glance what you have missed and when you missed them. Many of us belong to the "Just Missed It Club" and rely on the Twitter updates to help us actually SEE something, so there is a link to follow Africam on Twitter. You must be a member of Twitter to follow, but it is simple and free to register.
Here is the link for more information on twitter
FOLLOW AFRICAM ON TWITTER
and for help about twitter we have a help thread at
AFRICAM TWITTER HELP
There is a list of the most recent new members, which is always great to see! There is also a list of who is logged on at the present time. You will get to know the regulars before long and hopefully you will soon become one of the regulars.
At the time I am writing this, there are also two interesting articles from the Bush School - Virtual Ranger section of the website - one on hyaena and vultures at a carcass and another that leads to lots of information on the various lions and lion prides. Make sure you have plenty of time when you start reading this one, as it is hard to leave. You can of course, bookmark it for later. Since the stories are always coming in, there are often updates posted.
Scroll down the front page yourself and see what you can find there.
