   The results are in..... Most of the races were very very close. We would like to congratulate everyone that was involved. It has been truly remarkable to see all of your creations. There is no doubt that it is you, the members, that make Africam such an amazing community. And now the 2007 Africademy Award Winners are..... Best Picture: Africam's Nkorho Story (Gerda) All the winners will be receiving banners through their private message inbox like the one below shortly, that can be placed in their signatures.
Congratulations once again to all our wildlife film makers! We look forward to next year, and a new batch of brilliant Africam films. Special thanks to Klbak and Aquila for accepting the awards on behalf of Baby Baboon for Best Comedic and Dramatic Actor, who unfortunately was unable to attend the ceremony.

 Congratulations to all the winners! A very hard decision in all the catagories, to first narrow it down, and then to choose one. Very well deserved in each case. Adding a warm thank you to all who voted for my tree frog video as the Best Wildlife Sighting. I am honored it was even considered with all the wildlife sightings we are blessed with. But, most of all, the biggest Thank You goes to Africam, for giving me a glimpse into your world and the opportunity to learn and grow with others who hold the wildlife and Africa deep in our hearts. __________________

 I too would like to thank all that participated and a big Congratulations to Everyone! There are no losers here! Every video, still photo, and author are winners. I hope some time the dedicated folks that take endless photos can have more categories. I can't express my appreciation enough for all the wonderful photos they post. The streaming cam pics thread is the first thing I look at each day. Thank you Africam for bringing us this wonderful experience live and for the Africademy Awards. It was so much fun! Special thanks goes out to Nkorho Lodge and their dedicated staff that help bring us these special sightings! __________________

  Thanks everyone ! Congratulations to all the winners. It's great to share the love for wildlife with so many people from all over the world. When I first saw the announcement for the Africademy Awards, I loved the idea and decided to make a slideshow from the many Africam-pictures I have saved on pc. Finding the right music to go with the pictures was the hardest part. But when I heard the music from Carl Orff, I knew this was the right song for it. I had great fun making the movie and I'm honored to see that many enjoyed it. The movie is my tribute to the best website on the internet. Now as in every speech, the First of all, a huge thank you to Africam and to the Africam Crew. Thank for all the hard work and for bringing the bush into our homes. You are the best ! I've been an Africam-addict for many years now and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I made many good friends here and been to Africam meets, met other africammers and even spitted Impala dung A big big thank you to the zoomers at Nkorho Lodge.You all deserve the oscar for best camerawork !
Thank you to all the wild "actors and actresses" that visit the waterhole daily and a special thank you to my favorit critter, the whoohoopers, I love you ! Thank you to all the bomites for the daily fun at the forum. it's been great to meet you all and I'm looking forward to many many more hours of chit-chatting and seeing the pictures and videos from all of you. And one more person I want to thank is my boss, for allowing me to watch cam and save pictures while I'm supposed to be working
