I'm new to Identifying animals. There were just many animals at NK. One had horns that rounded towards each other. One had many white verticle stripes and large ears and many birds were hanging off of all parts of these guys bodies, faces, ears, legs, and bellys. also, there were monkeys of some sort with black faces and long tails, even saw a baby! An exciting time! too bad it's midnight and time for bed. Cry

Goodnight

Thanks  Tourneyman,

I'm learning with your help. Yes, that was very exciting last night. My husband kept asking aren't you coming to bed, I said after the monkeys, then after the zebras, then I'm not coming in yet there's a nursing zebra. I recorded most of it so I'll be able to watch it again! This is very habit forming!Laughing

How about the guy with the very long curly horns?

That was a Kudu male.  Very large with large almost cork screw looking antlers.  Was a fantastic hour of mammals there at NK looks like its back to the birds now.  I can't be of much help with those.

Those were Kudu (larger antelope with a hump on back) Impala, and vervet monkeys.  Zebra just arrived too.  I was talking about those in the waterhole chat thread and said what was there in the sightings thread. Smiling
