Well............ they are hoof prints, as opposed to paw prints.... but where was the pic taken?

If it was in Africa, the only wild animal which leaves such prints is surely a zebra, and the only other animals which could be considered are horses........ the formation of the prints suggests that the zebra, or horse, was either 'pronking' (which they do not do) or was stationary before the pic was taken?

*sigh*

 Are those prints are made by a "horseshoe crab" ?

Used to see lots of them when I lived in Florida

I think that you would see a trace of the 'tail' in the sand if it was a horseshoe crab Vicki - and it would need to be more than one crab leaving the spoor as there are 4 prints in the picture?

Your pic of the crab is interesting, I have not seen it before. It appears to be more closely related to Arachnids than to true crabs.
