 A lady has left us. Toni or better know as ~annie~ on africam has left us last night. Longtime africammer ~annie~ was mostly found on the boma, where she also met the love of her life, Florian. Flo my heartfelt condolences goes to you, your time together was much too short. Toni, it was a privilege to meet you at the Vienna meet and now you can run on those wild plains with the animals. __________________

It is so sad to loose a light in our path. I believe the friends Annie made here will miss her deeply. I'm sure her memory can shine on for them when they think of her smile and kindnesses. __________________

Hi there, I hope this posts in the correct spot. I just wanted to let you know that annie~'s obit will appear tomorrow (Friday June 19th) in her hometown newspaper.  Dearest Toni/~annie~/Lilybelle Whilst I will miss your humour, your friendship and the hospitality that you gave to your Africam friends, I know that you are still 'here' watching over us and making sure that the love of your life, your irrascible Flo, is 'behaving' - as if! I had hoped to visit you and Flo again later this year - but I will see you again, at least in my memories, remembering you as a friend who welcomed me to your home and who showed me the delights of Austria. I will never forget the sights that you and Flo showed me - but my favorite memory will always be that little farm, just outside Vienna, where we walked among the trees. I am not going to do the 'Rest In Peace' thing because I am happy in the knowledge that your passing was peaceful and that you are still with your friends, in our hearts and in our memories. Steve was lucky enough to have met Toni/annie~ at the Angel Meet in Milwaukee. I never had that pleasure, but I did chat with her on several occasions on the old Boma. Steve and I were deeply shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. We did not even know she was sick. She was a lovely lady, and we know she will be very much missed. Our hearts go out to Toni's family & friends, and especially to Florian.
Our deepest condolences.
