Hello fellow Africammers - I am new here, but not to the Boma.  Have been lurking for almost two years, just never got on here to say hello.  Can't tell you how much I love this site...have been devotedly watching since before our lions took down the cape two Christmases ago. 

And yes, I feel like I know you all, as I follow the forums daily.  Thank you to the likes of Aunty Lyn and Aquila, who have made my time away from here so much more pleasurable, because you faithfully and devotedly post your pics for me to see on my return!

What is the cracking noise that I keep hearing in the background?  Almost sounds like an elephant pushing over a tree....but i doubt it.
