blank white screen problem

This Animal Sound
Submitted by Kathleen28 on Tue, 19/12/2006 - 9:02pm.Okay, I looked at the sounds thread, but it would take me hours to listen to every sound on there. Here is a description of what I heard, can someone tell me what animal this is?
Make a "who" sound like an owl does and at the same time pat your mouth just like you did when you were a kid pretending to be an Indian.

I've been lurking for the last four or five days, and can't seem to shake this place, so...
I'm living in Austin, TX with my 22-month-old twin sons and husband; I'm formerly of New York and New Jersey. I just moved my computer into our living room so my boys can check out the webcam during daylight hours. 
I think they'll have hoot... One of them was lucky enough to see Mom, Pop and Baby Hippo, and I'm looking forward to showing them more beasties as the days roll on.
Having a great time reading everyones' posts, catching up, and settling in on the board...

Why Can't I See Anything?
Submitted by Soozyq on Tue, 19/12/2006 - 3:47pm.This is driving me NUTS! Screen was OK until Monday now I can't get anything at all, no sound, nothing. Little message that normally says "connected" now says "media inactive"! I'm having withdrawal symptoms, I need to see that the wildebeest calf with the broken hip is OK still!
