Baby Elephant Rescue

Hello everyone! Congratulations on the great updates, Africam.

You can read the story and see pics of little Orok's rescue in Amboseli, Kenya on the Sheldrick website.

Also, Animal Planet will carry a program called Elephant Diaries (about the Sheldrick elephant rescue program) Sunday, March 5th at 8:00 PM. I'm not sure if that is eastern or pacific time zone. Check your local program guide.

This course includes a wealth of information about the lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhinocerous and is well worth reading for those who are going - or who dream of going - to Africa.

Registration on the site is free and there are 2 message boards, which have interesting discussions about wildlife and the environment from time to time, available to logged-in students.

Spell Checker?

Could you add a spell-checker to this site camaraman - to save this old bird from having to look difficult words up on Miriam Webster?
