It is 12noon here in sunny, hot and humid Israel. Relatively quiet today.
Son and cats are fine---talked with son this morning.
I am still at friends and will return to Haifa tomorrow or Wednesday--will decide later today.
Last evening my friend her sister and I went to a store opening-the store belongs to their brother and sister-in-law and is a Knitting store called

Good Morning All from Sunny Israel. I am at Kibbutz Ha'Ma'Apil in almost Central Israel----Enjoyed a very peaceful and quiet Friday and Saturday. Nice change from haifa and helping me to relax. Sae on the news this morning that the sirens started Early this morning in Haifa. I do worry about my son and my cats but he says he is okay. I will be here until at least Tuesday and will keep in touch. This evening am going to a store opening in Ra'anana which is about 1/2 hour further south from here. Will write about tomorrow. May be back later. Have a good Sunday everyone.

Preparations for the removal of the 350-plus exotic fallow deer from the Groote Schuur Estate are well advanced and Table Mountain National Park staff hope to live-capture the first group of 160 in the coming weeks.

CapeNature permits to transfer the deer to three licensed game farms in the Western Cape, which all have existing fallow deer populations, are expected to be issued within the next few days.

Hi all--It is 8AM here in Haifa-----am starting this chat to let everyone know that I am leaving Haifa in about 1/2 an hour to visit friends further south for 4 days. I may or maynot have access to a computer---if so only from Saturday night. So if you don't hear from me---that is why.
First siren of the day went of earlier than usual--7:45AM---no bombs fell in Haifa.
Going off-line now so I can finish getting ready to leave.

Hoping to return for my 21st and hit the Kruger! Absoloutely adore animals as soon as i get cam working i ca show you all my iguana lol only bit of wildlife i have at home seeing as i dont have a garden
