Masai Mara, Kenya
Submitted by Landi on Sat, 23/09/2006 - 11:52am.Another story:
For a short while I worked in the Masai Mara in Kenya, it is a beautiful area, so different from the woodland savannah I was used to in Southern Africa, as it is generally large open grasslands with most of the trees concentrated along the rivers and watercourses and is bordered on two sides by escarpment.

To the person/s behind the cam
Submitted by cerinthe on Sat, 23/09/2006 - 2:44am.I wish to thank you for the quality of images we get. Not only is it a good cam, but you seem to be there every time an animal or bird show up. A hoopoo or a elephant, you show us the details, we can see the behaviour patterns. I'e seen the european swallow what I thought was fetching mud, seen the ellie pull out grass with it's trunk, while giving the grass a little kick to loosen it, seen the owl catch a frog/toad, seen how the zebras first see if the coast is clear before they come to drink.
What a experience! and that's all thanks to you people.
