Giraffes & Zebras

I saw 4 Giraffes and some zebras at the waterhole at around 7:45 am your time. Two of them were very pale. They looked as if they had been rolling in something white. This isn't their natural color is it? Or have they gotten into something that colored them. I think it was the younger ones.

When does the rainy season start for the Kalahari?
