Elephant Plains is our only major problem left, although we are still some way off to getting it back - no ETA yet

Hello Everyone!

I've been watching the Africam for about 3 weeks now and telling all my friends about it. It's truly amazing! Thanks! ~KJ

White tail mongoose

On my last tirp to South Africa I finally got a shot of a white tail mongoose that was not of only its tail or with red eye! The ranger I was with knew I wanted to get a shot of one since I had failed before. As a general rule they are only supposed to go off road for the big 5. However, he decided to include the white tail mongoose in that category and we were able to follow this fellow and I got the one shot below. One of these we think was sighted at the water hole today.

NEW DAY!!!

I heard a whooop little bit ago, but no show yet. Sad

Storm brewing out there too.

Hello from Florida

I discovered Africam in February but have never posted on a site before so it took me awhile to get up the nerve to join. I love this site! This is the most amazing opportunity for all to share in the magic that is Africa, and I want to thank all who make this possible! Laughing out loud

New but addicted

Greetings from the Pacific NW...Salem, Or. Doesn't take long to become addicted to this. (Thanks Mr. Fin) Just wish time zones were alittle closer, I need my sleep once in a while. A more comfortable chair is in the near future too.

Thanks for all the great camera work. Smiling

Baboons may have broken a lens or infra red bulb? April 21st

Not complaining, just pointing out that there is a focus problem again similar to the one that plagued us for such a long time in the start of March thisi year.

Night image April 21st was barely visible and out of focus. Day image is as if looking through a shower glass door.

Thanks!
