My name in the land of cam watching is Camfan1, and although I am fairly new to this site, just six months now, I feel like I have found a new home.

I live in the bright sunny state of Florida, in the USA, which puts me about 7 hours behind South Africa’s time. I do get to see the afternoon in Africa, but most of my cam watching is spent viewing at night, when a wonderful and mysterious atmosphere takes over the waterholes. It has fast become my favorite time to watch, wait and listen for the sounds and occasional sights of that remarkable land.

In May 2008, I travelled to South Africa together with Katja.
After spending 2 weeks in Kruger National Park we ended our holiday at Elephant Plains.
We stayed at the lodge for 2 days and had a wonderful time.

Elephant Plains Lodge is located on the banks of the Manyeleti river and has a spectacular view over the surrounding plains.

I hope you tried posting in the "New To Boma" thread to introduce yourself and start to get a feel for the forum.

As I said at the end of the last installment, this issue will get you started posting in the daily threads.  The difference here is that you won't be a newbie because it is going to be a whole new forum created for the daily chats.  Everyone will be a newbie!
