I am very interested in nature and the place each and every animal plays in it. I am very concerned about the decline in species due to loss of habitat,  poaching, global warming, etc.  It is up to each of us to do what we can to ensure continuation of all the species.

I worked at a large and small animal hospital for years. I also owned, trained and showed horses for over 45 years. I taught English and Western  styles of riding and judged many horse shows.  I have had pets all my life: dogs,cats,etc and currently have 3 dogs.

My child is grown and married and I have a 3 yr old grandchild. They live not far from me.  I live in the country and love the country way of life including the sometimes solitude. 

Someday I would like to visit Africa to be able to see all the wonderful animals in their natural habitat.
