SCHOOL PROJECT   FOR   CHILDREN

Good morning cammers!  Dirk, Jacqui, Gary ( Penryn teacher) and all the children are on their way down to the camera.  Just want to introduce you to the group that is going to do all the hard work at the school today!  Karin

Jacqui's (Nkorho Lodge Owner) post regarding the Project

that she, her husband Dirk, and Karin have undertaken,

regarding the Nursery School in the Gottenberg Rural Village

My children attend Penryn College in Nelspruit and all the children at the

>> college have to do a community project at the end of each year, so that is

>> how the school become involved in the project as well, they have collected

>> toys, balls and blankets for the nursery school.

There are 35 children in a one room, it has a cement floor, the windows

>> have frames but no glass it is really terrible.  We will be painting the

>> classroom and putting up education material on the walls as well as
>> building these children a playground.

The first day working on the school: Karin and myself left the lodge right after breakfast. When we stopped there you just saw people coming from all direction to come and help us.(later the day that lending hand was welcomed). As we stopped Garry pulled up 5 minutes later with al the pupil's from Penryn. Everybody was show what they have to do.

After yesterday's task's were completed. We headed back to the lodge were everybody jumped into the pool for a welcomed cooling operation.
