Just one of our Bald Eagles we have been watching and live streaming through the camera near her nest this past year. She had two chicks this year.

This little Stellar Blue Jay was saved from the jaws of a putty tat. Nursed back to health, and now any time you go out your front door, he swoops down from his tree in the yard and lands right on your head. He stays well away from anymore putty tats...Smiling

This gives you a better idea on just how big they actually are compared to a human. This is one of the biologists we work with. This is one of the chicks you see in the nest above. It was removed to be banded and tracker attached. Tests were taken to get a better handle on mercury and other containments going through them, than up the food chain...Sad
