yes quite the story (big frank) sent it to me last night while i was chatting with him on m.s.n
Yes, Barry, I got it from BigFrank , but as he don't want to post here I didn't want a good story go to waste. I looked the varied thrush up in a birdguide that I also got from BF via Lynty when she was here, nice bird!
As I live in the city I don't have such a variety on my feeder like ppl in rural areas have, but a few weeks ago I had a first brambling on the feeder and he only showed up about two weeks later. Then more frequently, until this morning he showed up with a female. Later in the day there were 4 of them, so for me it's like going woohoooo! all that feeding bring more birds to my garden.
Two weeks ago we had our backyard birding weekend.__________________

Barry, the mountain robin has a much better ring to it.
At last we have a little sun today, I hope the birds show up :!:
