I haven't seen the 'mother' eagle for a few days - maybe I have just timed it badly. But it always seems when I look in that the young one is sitting there looking rather forlorn! Is she still feeding the young one or has she deserted? Getting a bit worried! Many thanks Rosie

  Hi Rosie. The mother is out hunting more during the day and is on the nest mostly in the morning/evening, South African time. Our "little" Bafana is growing fast and needs more food Edited  |

. They plan to tag and band him/her sometime this week. This will allow them to follow and identify Bafana once he/she leaves the nest.
