I don't think so, I'm used to the various loud and sometimes abrupt noises the wind makes by now.  It didn't last more than a few seconds and when it started I thought we were about to hear a roar, but it turned into a grumble.  Perhaps a wildie complaining that another is leaning in too hard.

Hi Zeke.  I, too, have been hearing on and off roars at NK very far off  in the distance.  Almost inaudible, but distinctly lion.

Yep - That could be why the jackals were carrying on.

Would love to see any critter at this point..but a lion would be the icing on the cake..

I never discount anything. A lion could show. They travel fast.

Edit: or, should I say 'pride'?  Smiling

Those crickets need to chew some gum from an acacia tree....that would shut them up for a little bit
