Hi, Bird!  Those streaks may be insects, bats, or birds.  The fiery-necked nightjar is one bird we see streak by quite often, although I haven't heard one for awhile. :(  They're my favorite bird call at the wh.

There is....http://www.everyoneweb.com/ngala/ .  If you've ever heard a loon call, the nightjar reminds me of the loons tremolo call.  VERY haunting....a sound you'll never forget.

ETA:  If I was better with some of this puter stuff, I would know how to make that a clickable link....but I don't.  You'll have to copy/paste....sorry. Embarassed

Doing good here.  VERY cold today.  7° now with 30 mph winds & blowing snow.  Not a nice day.

LadyHawk & Bird....you're very welcome for the link.  Should you misplace it, it is available on the main forum page under "Useful Links".  The sounds will open in WMP so if you have a cam open in WMP be forewarned that your cam will disappear while you browse the sounds....you'll have to re-open the cam when you're done listening.

Sorry it is a NK. (I forgot to id)  It just swung across the camera and then came back on the lens cover.

Hi, Jeanne....I saw the spider, too.  The lodge will be having to do some housecleaning themselves, soon! LOL  Our view will get funny if the web gets too thick.

I was sneaking a look at the cam because I am suppose to be doing book keeping (shhhh).  I caught the swing and thought my cam feed was stuttering and then I thought maybe it was a bird.  So I watched and the little buggar came up on the lens cover, scurried around a bit and disappeared over the edge.  Rather small spider I think.

GROAN on the bookkeeping.  That is my profession as well as my "job" in dh's business.  This time of year it's exhausting, isn't it?

I'd be happy to send my spiders over to keep it company.  Took down all the dusty cobwebs efore Christmas and I haven't looked closely enough to see if any have rebuilt yet.  Wish they ate crickets.

I am removing cobwebs one room at a time.  By the time I am done, I will have to start all over again, and I have a small house.
