Activity, yes, blobs moving around.  I really miss the days (only a year ago) when we were actually seeing critters that we could clearly identify by size and shape.  This way, they're all moving blobs, some no bigger than inch worms LOL

Thanks Dreamer  Sounds cost prohibitive (considering how long it is taking to raise the Josh laptop money).

So I vote for asking the lodge to vary the nite view now and then to focus in on areas where we know there is action (like the termite mound and marula tree if possible, or the right of the pan, rear, or the finger, etc);

this wide angle view doesn't afford much critter watching (except for the inch worms LOL)

I would absolutely love to see a small IR light at the Marula tree . I see a lot of movement back there at night. Could be pixels ..but ... I have noticed also that a lot of the critters are not stopping at the WH at night ..and I get the feeling that they are just beyond the mound laughing at us LOL

Shoot, as long as I have a clear view that's the main thing. I think most people like the bulk of the water hole showing as when we have been sitting on close ups of other areas we always hear the critters at the area not shown. LOL Just always seems to happen that way.

To be honest with ya, I don't see that much action at the mound or the Marula tree. Of course sometimes things do go on around there but I've seen way more activity around the hole and out in the field.

About the cam view, I believe they asked that question of the viewers as to which view they preferred and I think the majority went with as much of the wh as possible to include the finger.
