Nice grouse photo Alf..... can I count it for my life list?!!!!!! lol I already have one on my list as my kids hit a huge one with their Volkswagon.. Almost wiped the bug out... broke the windshield! I love that pic too ALF and love surprises like that in my backyard.

We thought about putting out a bat house to see if we could attract them. The are excellent bug eaters. And believe me, here on the Gulf Coast we get more than our share of mosquitos, gnats, etc. Carolyn, I'm not that far from you (Brazoria) and I have a bat house. It was occupied the first year I put it up with a mixed nursing colony of Evening bats and Brazilian freetailed bats. I love to sit in the backyard at dusk in summer and watch them come out. __________________
