Hi Mike it is on the web site of our reserve, I have only a few of my pics but some other owners have sent me some great pics which they took there and I posted on the site.  www.olifantsreserve.com go to picture gallery.  There are some youtube urls on the travel section under my name also by other owners, the elephant one is one that Ms Charlie was refering to Mike.

Well......they were about 5 feet from me, it was not that difficult. They were within the lodge area and very comfortable around people.

I think that that is possibly part of what helps them move like silent shadows through the bush. There are times where you sit in amoungst a herd and can only hear them when they are breaking branches and chewing not when they are walking, it is incredible considering their size.

OK than I did hear Campbell right than. Man Janine your a God sent on here. THANK YOU. Between you and Mike and the other's who either live there or have been there, we would be sunk. Or at least I would.

THANK YOU ALL who give of your time and knowledge here. It is not wasted I assure you.

A few minutes ago someone was saying how dangerous a hyena can be, and it reminded me of something I read in August of last year about a hyena attacking a young girl.  If you are interested you can see the article here:
