New day for chat begins here

How cool was that !!  Just as I sat down the eagle / owl came in for landing ! 

I think an owl just landed, flew right in front of the cam and landed on the right hand side of the wh.

Good evening everyone.  I also was wondering what kind of eagle or owl is making that screeching sound.

Is that the eagle owl that sounds like an eagle's call?  Just heard a jackal yip too.

Oh I hope we have lions tonight.  They must still be around.

I'm confused about something, maybe you all can help me with it.  I know we're supposed to hang out here (or in the Campfire) when nothing is happening on the cams, for hellos and goodbyes and all off-cam-topic stuff.  And we have the "Sightings Discussion Thread" and the "Sightings Thread"

I'm conufuzzled about where exactly we should be discussing cam sights and sounds when there is activity--it seems like the Sightings Discussion thread has become another Sightings records thread, no discussion.

If I'm making any sense.  If not, nevermind LOL

I've only heard 1 that i can make out, its way off i heard one roar just befor the cam buffered the last time and i heard it again just befor i posted. SD

SD, we had lion calls around 7 p.m. sat.
