What a beautiful cat.  I have a special spot for lions, but leopards are really making their way up the list lately.  So pretty.:)

Don't forget Cat Diaries continue this evening at 6:00 pm CST on Animal Planet. You will fall for all the big cats even more.

I guess I still love the lions just a hair more. Even the females look so majestic and strong. It is hard to not be in awe of their beauty and power.

Thank you Fani and Ingwe!!! Sorry, I had a flurry of phone calls and couldn't respond until now. LOL

I would love to find out about the cub of Rock Drift & White Cloth. He was described as being very large for a cub and I often wonder if he is one of the large leopard males we see now but we just don't know it's him. He sure was a beauty and I would love to think he is still around and doing well. Smiling

Ingwe, was their sightings of white cloth and her cubs back on the old boma? I am still searching for her son by the Rock Drift male. Him and his sister were booted out on their own towards the end of 2002 prior to Ncila/Nzila and his sister's (who died) birth in 2003. The Rock Drift & White Cloths female cub eventually found her way back to her mom's territory but nothing was ever mentioned about where the brother ended up. Thought it was cool reading about how the Rock Drift male took the 2 yr old female cub under his wing and even shared kills with her. Smiling

Hi Aquila ...I don't know anything about White Cloths previous cubs ...We had met her only with her male cub Ncila at the last monts of the old Africam ...It must be on late 2004 and early 2005 ..If I remember well ...Before the common female in the area was Safari female and later her daughter (I think) Kalcool (or something like that ...she was killed by  lions)

thier is some  info on the  rock drift  cats in africam book

page  3

Hi Aquila,

I'm sure there was. Fani would be a great person to ask. She keeps such wonderful records with her pictures. Katja was there in 2003, and she has so much great info too.

And that was very cool hey! TJ was such a very special leopard. Smiling
