In about two hours all the bird seed I've put out this morning is gone. What a buzzle it was. Firstly there was a blackbird coming to check out the food and then he fought every other bird who came near, but eventually he was outnumbered. I'll give them seconds today and new water. After all the starlings had a bath, who wants to drink that water? There were about 15 starlings here. You have the spirit of the wild in you, Cerinthe, feeding and watching the birds go about their lives. We watch wild animals, but they don't watch us. They have important things to do. Hmmmmm

Doing fine lloyd thanks, finished work and I just read some good news on a blog I've been following about a girl that had a very serious accident 4 months ago. She was hit by a truck on her bike (She's a good friend of my sister's son). She is kept in a coma because her injuries are very serious, since 4 months, and now they they are starting slowly to wake her up once in a while and I read that she "smiled" for the first time in 4 months Such happy news! I will say a prayer for her to get healthy.
White blanket? Nooooooo, ours is mostly melted after so much in November and December. It is cold and they say we may get a little snow, but not too much. It's pretty when it snows, but then I want it to melt off streets and sidewalks! __________________
