What a day this has been.  Mannheim Steemroller tickets in hand, stairs almost finished...life is good and I'm loving it.  2 more concerts and a night launch then I can call it a fantastic year.

Stairs...where to start...they had carpet but that's gone.  "Carbonized" bamboo and oak instead.  It was the bamboo that broke my toe...but that is healing up nicely.

Yikes! Did you drop the bamboo on your toe? I must say, it sounds lovely (the stairs )

It's a lovely beginning to the day here in Iraq....the dawn just broke...it's actually pretty in the morning....but it will be 126 degrees F shortly...ruins a perfectly nice day

I would like to say kudos to those who thought of and contributed to the 'help a new member' link.....when i get more time today you can bet i will be over there learning and reading and watching.

the same happens to me.....and then i will see someone said something to me...and i feel rather foolish as they are leaving after saying something minutes ago...and i don't catch it till they are gone LOL

I don't even have any cams open, because I have to do a lot of shopping this am. I had the grandkids over often this past week, but the school starts on monday and then my life gets back to normal again.
