I have wondered about that one ..I think it is the Emerald spotted Dove ...not sure tho .

It's a special kind of ice. It hurts your tushie just as much if you fall on it though.

A curling sheet is not a flat sheet of ice like you would skate on. Curling ice has many tiny bumps on its ice surface known as "pebble" which raise the running surface of the stone off the ice. These "pebbles" on the ice surface reduce the friction between the rock and the ice surface allowing the rock to glide further on the sheet of ice.
