              COFFEE IS SERVED

Old-Fashioned Campfire Coffee

Ever wonder why coffee always taste so good when it was made
over a campfire?

The secret is whole eggs. This includes the shells which gives
coffee that rich flavor. It makes getting up in the morning in
the outdoors a pleasure. With the pure, fresh water of the
mountain stream, coffee reaches its height.

1 – cup ground coffee
2 – eggs
1-1/2 - cups cold water
12 – cups freshly boiled water
1/4 - teaspoon salt

1. Wash eggs, break shells, and beat slightly.

2. Put 1-cup cold water and eggs in large coffeepot and mix.

3. Add salt and coffee grounds.

4. Pour boiling water into pot onto coffee grounds and stir.

5. Cover pot and stuff the spout.

6. Put over fire or on store, over direct heat.

7. When the coffee comes to a boil, let simmer 3-minutes.

8. Pour in 1/2-cup cold water to settle grounds. Let stand 1-minute, and serve.

THIER IS SUCH  LOT OF FOOD IN THE AREA WHERE THEEAGLES ARE  I WONDER WHAT THE PROBLEM IS  THE 24TH MARCH LOG TELLS A GOOD STORY ON  WHY

These are normal behaviors in a nest where the food is light and the two chicks are playing the game of “every eaglet for itself,” but we had hoped to see less of this since Blackwater appears to have enough food for a two-eaglet family.

Spent the day at work.  It was the first quiet day there in a long time.  Not bringing any stress home is good Smiling

Hope we get a lion show tonight!

Being able to leave the stress at the workplace is good, but not easy.

My niece just called ~ doing a science experiment.  She has to keep her hand warm when dipping it in ice water.  She is allowed to wear a latex glove.  I suggested coating her hand in crisco (shortening) and then in the glove and then in the water.

Any other suggestions?

Don't let it stay in the icewater too long. Eye-wink

I have seen it done by a professor on TV, all kinds of these experiments.

Hey now, this is a family friendly place

EP up and running, no buffering just now but I'm at almost 80% CPU usage on both.  This doesn't make sense

pumbaa_pig.jpg picture by krukab when you mentioned  - sheep dip

i remeber when i was a kid on grammas ranch we had to run

the  sheep throught  the water with medicine in it to get

rid of any  ticks or lice

i dropped my pocket watch in the water  where the  sheep

were being driven through   i picked it out of the water

and it didnt work anymore  the water and medicine had killed

all the  ticks
