Nice angle view of the sky, but it must be cloudy.  Saturn should be visible as it sets

It must be really cloudy, I have not seen even a twinkle in a long while ..like I said I think the sounds from the Impala are scaring even the stars into hiding LOL

Alf, food looks good.  Is that salmon on a shingle.  Sure beats carp on a shingle.  .... pull out the nail, throw the nail and carp away and eat the shingle

LOL Thanks for the flash back Howwa !  When I was , well "younger" I used to love to go and spend summers with my older sister, Her husband was in the Army and a couple of times a week I would hear ..( in a loud booming voice ) SOS Breakfast is on the table ! SOS !!  which meant  "sausage on a shingle"  sausage in a cream gravy on toast which,  when he told us it was called,  --it on a shingle in the Army, and we would giggle like crazy to be let in on that "top secret".

Roger that.  Actually young carp, fried in cornmeal isn't all that bad.  I would catch carp and bullheads, clean them, and Mom would fry them for us.

I miss fried fish ..real fried fish !  When I was growing up we would have fried fish in a corn meal batter, and I am not talking about filets !  You picked the fish from the bones. Usually served with grits and butter ( sometimes red-eye gravy ) , and lemon on the side for the fish.  The last time I had catfish it was such a disappointment. It was boneless little nuggets that had been rolled in a ball and fried ..I cannot believe a fish is fresh and real unless I have to spit out at least one bone Smiling

i had   CARP  many times   what you do is  cover the whole fish

in clay and bake in an oven  that way  all the juices stay in

(also you stuff the fish  )  bread onions  bacon  chives salt  pepper etc etc

OK ..they are NOT playing fair anymore !  when the NK cam comes back up with the AD ..there is no controlls, I can not mute it, I have to scramble for the sound controls on my speakers !  At least when the EP cam blips out to commercial I can mute it !

I have clay cookers for fish and chicken.  I soak them in water and then cook the chicken or fish in the oven or over a grill
