I remember flying into Zijuantenejo Mexico the first (of two) times.  The airport is right off the coast and looking out the window in the cabin, it looks like your going into the ocean right up until the landing gear hits the ground.  :::shudder:::

I've flown onto and off carriers a couple times, the take off didn't bother me too much, coming down was a rush tho, lol!  Thanks for the nice compliment of my photography, Maddie, much appreciated!

Boggles  my mind that those guys can land a plane on a ship.  Doesn't surprise me though that you like getting outdoors and taking those beautiful pictures.   Quite a contrast in lifestyle I would think. 

Yep, I was what they called a lifer, lol, did over 21 yrs! 

That was a good movie, a little exagerated in parts, but still a good movie!
