Africam Chat Room Rules

• Our cams are watched by all manner of people all over the world including children. I room is rated PG. No bad language, or abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented or threatening language.

• The chat room is for those people watching Nkorho Pan, Elephant Plains, Tembe and any other  Africam hosted or promoted site.

• Be nice

• Be friendly

• Do not argue

• No religion or politics in open chat

• No CAPS please, its considered shouting

• No teasing, verbal abuse, harassment, cyber threats, people bashing, picking on or stalking of any sort will be tolerated by anyone in the room. If you feel you have been or are being harrassed, please copy the chat and email it to the address below.

• The room is English speaking

• Personal information about yourself or others including age or location (state and country re OK) should not be discussed or offered

• Chat room moderators (mods) are here to answer question and give information as they are able to. It is not a requirement

• Links are allowed as long as they are relative to wildlife. Links will be closely monitored. Links to competing cam sites are discouraged

• While we allow open discussion regarding other cams, sites and blogs please remember this chat room is dedicated to Africam

• At times the room chat will be restricted to logged in chatters only. It‘s at the room mods discretion  when to open the chat         

• You should expect room mods to be calm, courteous, helpful and friendly to all users in the room

• Decisions to ban a user is a serious matter and will only be undertaken after warnings

• Private messaging other users of the room is fine as long as you know each other. Unwanted private messages, or those harassing the user is not acceptable. Feel free to message a mod should you feel you are being harassed

• Access to Africam chat rooms is a privilege, not a right. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the room at any time

• Africam management select mods as they are needed. Temporary room ops may also be used from time to time at the discretion of Africam
