I think this could be a Civet, if it is then it is a very large Civet! I always thought they were a lot smaller!!

I named it first as a hyena

I named it first as a hyena but was wondering what it really was.When it leaves the waterhole, you can clearly see the figures in its fur. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for captureing that video and posting it.  It is a rare sighting for us to see them and so nice and clear too.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.... especially when the cams go down.

It is the size of a Hyena. 

It is the size of a Hyena.  Note the "Racoon" face.  The stripping along the neck.  The rear end looks like a civet.  Any one know for sure ?
