I have seen the pics on July 17 and 18 with a collared ellie...does anyone know something more about him....? Is he part of a scientific project ? ...

Maybe you already saw the answer to your queston of the collared elephant....I asked MacMac about it on July 28. The answer is on page 1 of the question and answer forum from MacMac.

Thank you Suzanne...Yes I was away all July and half August and I had missed that MacMac's post ...I would like to know more about those projects in Kruger (collared ellies and tagged vultures and marabous) and the conclusions of that research ...but it looks none knows more info about them.

You are very welcome. I saw your post this morning on Pete's Pond about the elephants. I just love them. They are there now and they are so happy playing and splashing around. I swear you can just see the happiness on their faces!
