Yes they have joined up. There were 10 youngsters but they are down to 9 now. If you have a look under photos from NK staff you will see what happend to the 10th one.

I saw this morning, after several days I was away, lots of baby wildebeests ...How many are there ?...Did the resident herd come back ...? Are all the individuals safe back at 'home' ?

This is the first news for me about the injured Manyeleti brother. We saw one of the Manyeleti brothers on Saturday and he was fine. Had no new cuts or scares. I will ask Greg this morning if he has any info on the injured male.

The question is how far can you intervene with nature? Since things like does happen and let’s say that little one did not get left behind in front of the lodge but at Kudu Corner. We would have never known then. This is what makes our jobs difficult since you want to help out every animal but knowing that this is nature and they have a way of sorting things out.
You can only help out to a point.
The last we saw the youngster she was with the herd.

I have never seen or heard of one in this area. I don't know about the Kruger I will have to ask Greg but I don't think there are and if they have they are a hand full.

This is first news to us. I know they did not find any predator tracks yesterday morning in the area. If you could maybe show me the picture?

I was looking at the pictures of one of the staff feeding the baby wilderbeest and was there somehting wrong with the baby also after he lets the baby go will the mother let the baby come back to her with the human scent on the baby
