I've uploaded the lions walking thru Nkorho and the Hyena action with vocals prior to the lions. At the end of the Hyena vid, something chases the Hyena that is standing at the top of the WH. What ever chased it, the Hyena sure ran for it's life.

Not sure how long youtube will take to process.

Here is the Hyena action that occurred about 15 to 20 minutes before the lions.

Darn the lion video is smaller and still not processed. Sad

EDIT: LION Video is live!

Thanks for sharing that, Aquila! I had to chuckle at E and T - they start out on the bank, and when they become aware of the hyenas, they make a beeline for the water! HA!

Thanks Aquila for the vids.

I think a second Hyaena is running too at the end. Those Lions have a reputation for sure, if it were2 Mapogo boys.

cynthiab if you mean the low growling? yes it was.

Those Hyaena's had something at that spot (food?) and communicated/argued about it. That's how it seems to me. (spel?)

I had to go back and edit mine to say NK, I got so excited. I just wish he would show himself before I have to head home. I would hate for my boss to come by and wonder why I am still here.

Hearing it now..That is a very unusual sounding roar, as lion roars go...

ohhh they're still there!

No Swift, I meant a strange whiney sound like a puppy. go listen again.

Edited to say, I got that wrong Swift. It's almost like a monkey talk sound (not like an alert). Just can't identify it.

It sounded like two to me.  They seem VERY close.

Maybe that's why it sounded strange to me - could there be two?

They seemed to overlap, so I'm betting there are two.

C'mon out kitties and say hello.

There ARE 2, Wildcall. Watch the vid
