Hi , I was wondering what you guys were doing to the cam at EP the other day? I was afraid someone might get hurt climbing around on that ladder. We appreciate everything that you all do to make EP so wonderful for us. But please be careful. I'm not sure exactly when or what you are refering to, but I know recently we had some lighting problems from the baboons pointing the IR lights up instead of towards the waterhole as they should be. There was also a radio transmitter that they had almost removed that needed to be afixed again. They do good work under very difficult conditions for us to keep the cams working as much as they can __________________

Wish there was some way you could tell us what it is that's making all those wonderful noises when they're making them. If you click on the links below it will take you to our sounds databases, __________________

I live in Oklahoma, USA. I've had this site up for the last 7 hours, even though the sun just came up a while ago. But I absolutely love this. I keep the sound turned up loud and run in here everytime I hear one of your extraordinary birds. And I especially enjoy the camera work the operator does, including the close-ups of the trees! Never would have thought to study the tree so close, but I love it. And those are wonderful cameras you have. It's amazing how far off you can focus in. Last night, the camera was on what I thought was a stick. Wondered what in the world? Finally, the "stick" moved and turned out to be a gila monster. This is a great way to get the beauties and wonders of Africa out for people to watch. Keep up the fantastic work, you are doing a wonderful job!! It's the next best thing to actually standing there at that watering hole. Wish there was some way you could tell us what it is that's making all those wonderful noises when they're making them.

daffy, it was a waterbuck that was at EP a while ago. I haven't had any problems with the forum loading up when I have tried but have been busy so not tried recently. As I had mentioned to you before you could probably get more replies if you didn't type in the format that you are doing. __________________

I think I might have just seen a kudu at EP. Could anything be done to speed the forums up a little? It takes 15 minutes or so to get the forums to come up to post a comment or to ask a question. The cams are awesome.

Hello!
I just listened to all of the animal sounds posted--thanks so much.
I do have a question. I wonder about the zebra sounds--they sound like
entirely different animals. I expected a sound like a bray, or a whinney,
or something more similar to the sounds of its cousins. Can you give me
some enlightenment? Thanks so much.
