I think Miami meant during the day.  I have wondered this too.  Only certain things are in color and then only in certain places.  Such as the pictures of the Mapogo lion, parts of his mane are in color, but most of him is in black and white. Still they are beautiful pictures of a lovely animal.  Has there been info on why the EP cam is broadcasting like this?

I see what you mean.  I'm watching (trying anyway--lots of buffering at EP) to watch now and it is 5:45pm at EP.  The image appears very faded, almost black and white, but, I know they are still on the color setting.  I can only guess that at this time of day the sun is low on the horizon and bleaches out the color in the lens.

but I am only guessing.  I haven't ever seen EP during peak daylight hours (SA time) so I have nothing to compare this image to.

 Sorry.

At night (South Africa time) the cameras are set to infra red light so as not to disturb the wildlife, and, there isn't sufficient light to transmit in color so they are set to black and white.
