Over the last several years many of us have had the pleasure of getting to know this life-loving, kind hearted, adventerous young man. Jacques has announced that he is leaving Nkorho Bush Lodge to start a new chapter in his life.
We've watched him play in the pan to fix the pump when the elephants decided to pull at the pipe in search of fresh water, clean the camera when the rains & the dust had caked the lens and we could barely see, rescue and care for a lost baby wildebeest and join in the fun of the potjiekos cookout with Chef Wes. We were there when Jacques was our main zoomie and we were there when he became Ranger Jacques. Please join me in wishing Jacques a fond farewell and much success & happiness as he prepares for the next step in his life. Maybe you have a favourite "Jacques" picture, moment or experience you would like to share.
Jacques I wish you all the best! Thanks for all the questions you have answered, pictures you have shared and all you have done for us. You will be missed.

And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true."

Gee, I can't believe Jacques is leaving. He gave Africam it's personality - youth, warmth and engaging personality - a great reason for keeping him around, if possible. It is not going to be the same, at all. You have my best wishes, Jacques. The best to you whatever you do. God Bless.
