i am donating a thread to flowers i find out and about on my travels and in my garden feel free to add your own if u want its just i tried threads before and they never took off i have got some more i took today which will be put up soon Smiling

Chris,

We have these in our garden also.  Ours do bloom once a year and stay only for a day or two....ours were in bloom about 2 weeks ago here in PA  The funny thing about ours is that my sister gave them to us from her garden about 15 years ago when we lived in Harrisburg, PA  and they bloomed for us...about 9 years ago we moved to the Allentown area and she gave us more and they bloom for us...the funny thing is that my sisters have NEVER bloomed for her and we've had beautiful flowers in both of our gardens.

Prickly Pear Cactus Plant. I was told this only blooms 1 day a yr. but not sure. I will keep an eye on it to see what happens.
