Have to refesh back to the Waterhole forum & go back in. ONly to find that the post did in fact go through. Some people are reporting that they can't even log in. I respectfully agree with, and confirm sagrestas statement, The forums are still working. Reply to a post, close the window that appears, (it probably says "no connection to internet), then go back to "forums," click on the page u are using, and ur post should be there.  Thu, 01/11/2007 - 5:52pm
For the admins...
About the time the place went haywire....so did the Google Ads. Since they are coming in from a remote location likely via javascript....that might be a good place to look for a problem. Pages are hanging my browser and crashing it....and that usually means a javascript problem. Least it has in the past.....  Thu, 01/11/2007 - 7:02pm
Whoa....Africam...you are killing me here...killing me. You got my CPU deep in the red zone and keep blowing my engine.... Here is a normal CPU load when using my browser at other sites and a few other programs:
I'm running a Pentium 4 at 2.4 GHz...occasionally overclocked to 2.6 GHz. It takes alot to max me out (no pun intended) on CPU power for longer than a few seconds. You maxxed me out permanently and I had to shut down the browser several times. Time to look for a runaway script I think....something is chewing up cycles like a hungry mafia lion. It logged me out sometime before 4 p.m. EST. I did not try to log in til around 4:15 a.m. EST and it wouldnt let me. It said IE has caused an error but after tying a few times I knew it was Africam. I then checked again and I was able to log in around 4:45. ____________________________buy USA products....save american jobs! |
