Wow, I found the coolest place to see wildlife besides actually being in Africa...my son wanted to go to Fossil Rim in Glen Rose, Texas before he starts school this year and we had the best time. The animals are free to roam wherever they want and they have a 10 mile path to drive though & watch the animals (and feed them). Some animals will come up to your car and let you feed them and pet them, some won't (they are very shy), and some will try to get IN your car like the Giraffes and Zebras did.
