 Our Sparrows are funny creatures. There are the ones who live in the parks, and they have trees and lots of leaves and dead tree trunk cavities. then there are the ones who live amongst the Pigeons and buildings and cars and busses and people. The depend on fire escapes, window ledges, lamp posts, street lights, and people, and, they reward us by singing us awake in the morning. __________________

They probably have more tree cover. Ours haven't fully bloomed yet and there are only a few stands of evergreens in the park, none in the streets and alleys. __________________

Hi Barry. The poor things have had a bad run of rain recently. They were so soaked earlier that they all looked solid brown instead of streaked. __________________

Evening to all. My little Sparrow friends have just about cleaned out the hanging baskets of seed and suet. I'm glad. It was very wet and chilly here and I know they are nesting nearby. __________________
