As the old Bomites know it is time for my seasonal migration

I must follow the old (maybe ancient) paths (now roads ROFL) to the sea....There the climate is better to survive a hot Mediteranean summer ...;I will leave behind the big male of the family to protect our territory (like wildebeests ROFL) and me with the younger male of the family will go to spend four or five weeks at the west coast of Thermaikos Gulf with my parents and sister's family ...

My only problem as the oldest know ...is that there is no fast internet at this area ...in fact even mobile phones sometimes can't work !!! ...I can connect only via telephone line so ...it is impossible to see streaming cams ...and I will have difficulties to download Africam pages ...But I hope I can see your jpg pics (not png)

I created this thread ...as maybe I will post you some updates-posts from the beach ...and becouse it is very difficult to find your messages at the other threads of the Boma ...

I wish all of you a great July either it is summer or winter at your place ...Have great sighting at cams ( and yes I will be jealous ROFL)

I will miss all of you, the cams, the Boma, the zoomers ...

Good bye friends ...I will see you again in August

Hi there friends ...It 's windy this morning and I decided to stay back ...to catch what is running with cams ...Kids are still at the sea ...no jelly fish until now ...I hope this wind will not bring any to our shore ...

I would like to tell again a BIG THANK YOU to all who posted pics all those days ...and they are many ...I appreciate every pic you have posted here ...I struggled to download the pages ...but I saw them at last ...Only it took me a couple of hours ...What great sightings you had !!!! ....I wish you more ....

It looks like everything waited for me to go ROFL ...Now I hope for some lions ...Have a great day !!!!

Hi there ...it is very late here ...and I m trying to download the pics thread to the notebook with the 46kb/sec !!!...

I want to tell a big ''thank you'' to the new members Hanneke and Markus for their great pics ...and of course to all old ...too

I'm fine ...here ...It is much cooler and our summer friends was at the yard waiting for us ...Four hoopoes (Upupa epops) and a big family of Shrikes (Lanius collurio)

Thank you ...Thank you all ..my dear friends ...I'm leaving with my heart full with your good thoughts and I will count the days to be back ...I promise a lot of pics when I will be back in August

Cerinthe ...it is a ''must'' every year to do a bird list (binoculars have already packed !!!) ...only I always lose it and after so many years I don't have a complete list of the sightings there !!!! and no I can't stay even a whole pride has a big meal in front of the waterhole ...I will leave by taxi so I can't postpone it ROFL

Ursula ...yes there are jelly fish in Agean sea too ...Only last year we didn't have such a big problem ...We had them for some days but not so many and some brave people got them out of the sea...We still could swim safe ...I don't know what will happen this year ...I let you know.... By the chance I swam with 7 different species of little (baby) fish !!! Only I couldn't ID them

A question: Do you have jelly fish in the Aegen Sea? The Med is invaded by them! Take care, the contact with their tentacles is most painful!
