My son, Jake, recently decided to do a report and presentation for his class on ivory poachers in Africa. While I knew that I wasn't completely informed on it, I was completely surprised that this barbaric practice still takes place. For instance, Jake came across some alarming facts, such as the slaughter of 100 elephants in only 8 days during 2006 in Chad. While he did point out that groups are trying all they can to prevent this from happening, such as the Wild Foundation (if you haven't checked them out you should, http://www.wild.org/field-projects/save-the-elephants-of-zakouma-national-park/). But, I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions of different websites that I could give him to look at. Thanks!

Wow, thank you all so much! It's awesome that you are all so willing to help!
