Thanks Mavis,
Now that my grandsons are 6 and 3 years old I just introduced them to Africam the other day and now the 6 year old can't wait to come home from school, do his homework first, then get on the computer to see what is happening on Africam. They are so excited about this. I think his mom will have a harder time getting him to soccer practice and cub scouts now, tearing him away from the computer.
I was trying to find the database for him the other day and finally found it yesterday. Can't wait to show him. But I was a little bummed that I couldn't get the sounds to work on the animals, only the bird sounds worked. Is it just me, because I am using a Mac? __________________

Hi Doreen. The boma is a section of this forum, where we can sit and chat to one another. Todays Boma chats is here Nkorho Pan (NK) is a few miles from Elephant Plains (EP) and we now have both locations to watch day and night. __________________

Hi,
I'm sort of new again. Haven't been on in a very long time.
My question is, what is Boma? I don't think this was around when I was here last and also what is the difference between NK Pan and Elephant Plains? Is this actually the same place, just different cameras?
Thanks __________________

Hi and welcome to Africam and the forum. I do hope you will join us in the daily created Boma chat thread where we talk about what we are seeing and hearing at the waterholes. Feel free to ask any questions there too. The links in my signature will also help you find out were some things are in the forum as there is many threads of information you can find here. __________________

Hi Kat. This is a great place to introduce yourself and get the feel of the Boma. You've already found the daily chat thread where we all get together and chat about what we are seeing so thats good. When there is nothing on the cams to chat about, we talk about pretty much anything and have some fun. Feel free to ask questions and we will help you feel comfortable here. __________________
