Thank you guys, I'm sure its the loggerhead shrike too now that I have looked and compared pictures. They are really cute little birds.

Faeriedust, it looks like either a loggerhead shrike Lanius ludovicianus
or a northern shrike Lanius excubitor
In belgium we are very happy when we see a northern shrike
